This order was for a man who is particularly fond of Jack Skellington, so I gave the look a more mature makeover - my signature chocolate cake, coconut-pecan filling, coconut-vanilla buttercream, black chocolate fudge icing and chocolate ganache. Yum!

Happy new year, everyone! My birthday happens to be December 31st, good ol' NYE 🎉 Making my own birthday cake was a great way to play with ideas! This "fault line" cake features my signature soft chocolate cake recipe and chocolate fudge icing, all in black, with a custom galaxy sprinkle mix, edible silver painted accents, and faux flowers. Here's to an incredible 2020!

I had the privilege, and the daunting task, of making my own daughter her 4th birthday cake. She asked for a "rainbows and unicorns and dragons" birthday... So I tried my best to deliver 🎂 She got two tiers in vanilla confetti cake with chocolate fudge icing inside, by her own request. The horns are spiral curled candles, and the dragon wings are paper. This cake was a lot of fun, but also took NINE HOURS. Absolutely worth it, she and the guests loved it! Happy birthday to my little warrior princess!

Every order brings a unique challenge, but this one was definitely new territory 🐕 This is a dog-friendly birthday cake, featuring a gluten-free peanut butter carrot cake with mashed potato peanut butter icing and cinnamon stencil decor. Happy Birthday, little pup!

It's that time of year - time for a Nightmare Before Christmas cake 🎃💀🎂 This one is a coconut chocolate cake, with chocolate fudge icing 🍫 The secret? It's gluten and lactose free! It has the same taste and texture as a normal cake too, no one will ever know the difference! Everyone should be allowed to have a birthday cake 🎁 🎂 🎈 🎉

Gluten-free, lactose-free and PKU-safe cakes are available by request, and are every bit as delicious as a traditional cake! Gluten-free cakes use a more expensive flour, and will require a $5 fee.

Rainbow birthdays are so much fun! A very creative birthday boy chose this cake design and happily pointed out that it looks like both a dragon cake and a mermaid cake 💜 It reminds me of a real sea animal known as the Sea Dragon, which looks like a fancy seahorse and comes in many vibrant colors 🎂

This one was definitely a challenge - a return customer needed a pro-scooter skatepark cake for an awesome 12yo! This cake is hand-carved, iced in vanilla buttercream, covered in vanilla marshmallow fondant, and hand-painted in edible paints with skatepark style graffiti that features the birthday girl's name and age! This unique cake is sure to makena statement!

ALL recipes - including cakes, icings, and marshmallow fondant - are now house-developed recipes!

How sweet! A loving daughter ordered this cake for her mother, who loves the beach and hadn't had a birthday cake in many years 🎂

This one has strawberry cake, real lemon curd filling, vanilla buttercream, white chocolate shells and mermaid tail, sugar pearls, brown sugar sand and hand-piped two tone hibiscus flowers - the stamens are even candles!
