North Idaho,
ONLY 6️⃣7️⃣ DAYS TILL SCHOOL STARTS!👋🏼🫱🏼
I know how much teachers love to hear this. 😂 Miss Friddle
From where “6-7” started and then it taking off with all ages of kids saying it. It was actually added to the dictionary! Apparently we add anything in the dictionary. (See last photos)

4th Birthday for Noah, Avengers style.

Sometimes when I don’t have special cookie cutters and don’t have enough time to order any… I find an image(s), print, laminate and cut out. Then with using the print out image I hand cut out the shape in the cookie dough. Easy, but does take a lot of time.
(By the way, laminating things makes me so happy. Almost as happy as labeling things!😉)

Something else that I like using, is my Eddie®, The Edible Ink Printer to print out special photos and make transfers to add that 3D look and feel. (Again something else that takes time but adds so much to the cookies!)

Very late on posting cookie sets. But luckily we’re still in the same month.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY cookies.
🍪 8 cookies for each boxed flower bouquet.

This was the first year I used for the Mason jar vase cookie. I love the way it turned out. For such a big cookie adding a special design really adds to it.

I made Royal icing transfers for the “Happy Mother’s Day” and “Happy Fur Baby Mom Day” to add to each “vase” cookie.

Now the video in the end just shows that working with soft Royal icing while making floral cookies doesn’t work!
After trying to save it… I couldn’t. So I scraped it all off and did it again after fixing the icing.
The last picture just shows how important the consistency of the icing is.
And this is why I hate the process of Royal icing. With all the different colors and consistencies, in all the different bags is the worst part. I spend more time on my feet getting that done, then making the dough, rolling it out and cutting each cookie together.😩

But in the end, edible bouquets are the best!🥰

Well, my “cookie time” normally means, no sleeping until the cookies are done. (Although I try to make myself take, at least a 2 hour nap between each 24hrs.)

But this time my brain took a detour in the process of taking pictures of the finished cookies.

The worst thing is I remember laying them all out before I bagged them.
I remember putting all the 4 different colors of dot borders side by side and centered for the pictures.

Somehow I got sidetracked (no surprise there) and completely forgot to take the pictures.🤦🏻‍♀️

But luckily I took a picture showing the sticker on the back of each cookie bag, and you can see at least 3 finished cookies lying down. Plus I did make a couple videos in the process, but seeing them all completed is the best.

So I will try it again in May, when I make more Ziply Fiber cookies.
Thanks for the last picture
