It’s my very last bake day this Saturday.
Even though I’ve hit a hiccup with A Pocket Full of Rye, I’m still so fortunate — and that’s not something I take for granted. So many of our neighbors are struggling with food insecurity, and it’s only getting worse.
If you’ve got a few cans tucked away in your cupboard, bring them along on Saturday. I’ll make sure they get delivered to the .

Someone asked me if I had to maintain a bucket of starter do I could bake weekly. Nope, most of the week only keep 60 (ish) gms of starter going. I bulk up the morning of my dough mix and the morning of the bagel dough mix (Wed/Thursday). You can literally build your starter up from 1gm on a weekly basis.
