🤍HELLO FRIENDS! This is a bit of a long post so please stick around! 🤍
I know, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve really been active on this account. While I have been taking orders when messaged, I ultimately had taken a small step back over the course of the last year.
Between being a mom, appointments, therapies ( life in general) it became very overwhelming and stressful trying to fit in orders and navigate pickups while also handling regular day to day things. I started this small business because I find so much joy in giving and creating things for others to enjoy, and had found an outlet with baking. While I am so thankful for all the support and orders I’ve received since starting, something that I had once taken joy in, very quickly became an added stressor.
‼️So two things!!!‼️
1. This isn’t a “I’m closing up shop” post. I’ll actually be at Scioto County’s first annual Dog Fair on August 16th 10am-5pm at Tracy Park. I’ll be selling my sourdough chocolate chip cookies along with homemade sourdough dog treats for your fur babies! Be sure to come see me! 🐶🤍
2. As far as Cottage 635 I have an idea of where I want to go, but wanted to gage and see if it would be of interest to my customers! Think of sort of a farmstand situation ( I know y’all have probably seen them everywhere on social media), but more of a “porch” stand. Open two days a week for set hours ( most likely F and Sat). A self serve, grab n go of ready made goodies. Cookies, cinnamon rolls, bread those sorts of things. Is this something of interest to you all? Would you more likely to buy if it was ready made goods vs having to custom order? What sort of things would you want to see or buy?
