Focaccia Fail.🫠

Nothing worse than caramelizing onions for 45 minutes to then burn them when you bake the focaccia. Its bitter, not pretty and absolutely not going to the pop-up with me 😅

BUT!
I am going to have a limited number of the lemon blueberry rolls and I know you guys love those 😉

Since I’ll be at Nightbloom Market this Thursday in Corpus Christi, I will NOT be opening regular pre-orders this week 🤍

Instead, I’ll be bringing a special limited bakery lineup for the evening market — including a few things I don’t normally bring 👀

Just a little update for this week 🤍

I will NOT be opening regular pre-orders this week because The Mill Bakery will be popping up at the Nightbloom Market in Corpus Christi on Thursday evening instead!

This will be a special in-person event with shopping, plants, coffee, beer/wine, food vendors, and more — and I’ll be bringing a fresh bakery lineup with me ☺️

I’ll post the menu sneak peeks as I finish planning everything this week, but expect fresh sourdough, cookies, and a few special items I don’t normally bring to preorder drops 👀

Quick update for everyone with orders this weekend — I’m currently without power, so baking and prep are delayed for the time..
If your order is already ready for pickup, I have texted you directly. For everyone else, I’m reaching out individually with updates as I know more and can adjust timing accordingly.

Memorial Day weekend is coming up, so if you’re planning burgers, pulled pork, chicken sandwiches, or anything grilled, I added Honey Butter Sourdough Burger Buns to the menu this week.

They’re soft, fluffy, slightly sweet, and made in small batches.

Memorial Day weekend pre-orders are open on Hotplate!

I kept the menu simple this week with sourdough loaves, sandwich bread, baguettes, cookies, brownie bites, and a limited batch of Honey Butter Sourdough Burger Buns for cookout food this weekend (several different pick up times are available so you can have the freshest possible!).

Everything is baked to order, and ordering closes Wednesday at 5 PM unless sold out first.
