As a child I grew up camping. I have memories of sleeping on hard ground, of setting up tents, watching out for snakes etc. It’s no wonder I never took my children camping. This homework assignment however shows a different side of camping; “glamping”. I think I could have embraced this. I also went through a period of making lots of macrame so I particularly enjoyed piping the macrame on this cookie.

Whatcha baking Wednesday nearly got away from me. Today was my last day of teaching children’s/teens sewing camps. I had 66 young sewists this summer. Here is a bridal shower set that I absolutely loved until my wonderful customer pointed out that I had spelled the brides name two different ways. 😩 ❤️
