We are so excited for the first-of-the-season King Farmers Market tomorrow for two big reasons: 1) This is our neighborhood market and it is near and dear to our hearts. And 2), it’s the first market I ever had the opportunity to work with noodles! Lola taught me so much🙏🏼 and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join her and other old friends like , , , and other lovely vendors. Let’s hope the weather cooperates more than it did today. We’ll be there Sundays, starting tomorrow, from 10am to 2pm. See ya there! (Briefly and from a safe, distance, of course.)

It’s Wednesday, and that means I’m rolling Spelt onion poppyseed crackers. And, today is extra special because I got a replenishment of grains from my local grower/miller. Hope you all are well and finding ways to stay sane and positive.

We are bagging crackers today for the Hollywood Farmers Market tomorrow, 8am to 1pm. Summer hours start this weekend, and the market is now weekly! The market managers and vendors are all seriously taking precautions to keep shoppers and each other safe. We hope to see you there, from a safe distance, of course. ❤️

❤️I’ve been recipe testing a vegan version of this baby. My customers love the Buckwheat Crisps, and I’d like to make them available to my vegan friends as well. ❤️We’ll be at Hollywood Farmers Market in NE Portland tomorrow from 9am to 1pm. Come see us and give the new version a try!

Signed, sealed and ready to deliver! We’ll be at the Hollywood Farmers Market in NE Portland on Saturday, and I made a big batch of everyone’s favorite Buckwheat Crisps. Come say hi and try all three crackers this Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

Tomorrow is the last Hollywood Market of the year, and we will be there! We’ve got crackers for Christmas and new year entertaining, and there are so many other amazing vendors help get you over this holiday hump. See you there, rain or dumping rain!

Dark northern rye and spelt berries before and after milling. I love the colors, and I don’t notice them as much when I’m working with the grains individually. Just thought I’d share the subtle beauty of these Oregon-grown ingredients. Carry on!

With a week off between markets, I had a chance to bake bread—one loaf, just for me. (Ok, I’ll share with ). This is a whole wheat sourdough loaf with Gruyere cheese. It will make an amazing grilled cheese sandwich tomorrow when I’m back to baking whole-grain crackers.
