I can’t believe it’s September already!

I’m soaking up these last days of summer — you’ll probably find me at the beach, getting ice cream, or grabbing an iced latte.

I’m very glad empanadas are a year-round thing, because I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet. 😂

Just delivered empanadas to my friends at coffeebydesign and Coveside Coffee 👌🏽. Now it’s time for an iced mocha with a breakfast empanada! 😋

Did you know…

We’re regulars at many coffee shops across Maine, so if you have a favorite spot, chances are we’ve been there.

Some coffee shops have reached out and said, “You’re coming here anyway—why not bring some of your delicious empanadas?” And that’s how these partnerships started.

Our breakfast empanadas (pictured here) are filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, potatoes, and our signature chorizo seasoning.

They pair perfectly with your morning coffee or favorite tea and are a delicious way to start your day—or keep it going.

Here’s a little story behind this photo.

This is the Empanada Club trailer.

It might seem obvious to have a food trailer, but it takes so many resources to make it happen: a truck, a trailer, kitchen equipment, licenses—and that’s not even mentioning the empanada production, product development, the constant search for events, or the financial side of running the business.

I just wanted to share what a huge achievement this is for us and how proud we are of how far we’ve come.

It seems odd, but we’re already planning for fall and winter, so I wanted to take a minute (or five) to be thankful for summer.

We really appreciate all the support we’ve had so far to keep Empanada Club up and running. From making the empanadas, to all the logistics behind the scenes, to every one of you who orders, shares a post, or tells a friend about us—it all makes a difference.

Personally, my favorite part of the job is getting treats from the other vendors after I have the trailer all set up. (All the ice cream trucks are tagged here for obvious reasons🍦)
I also love all the stories I hear while selling empanadas, and there’s always a little refilling of my ego when someone stops me on the street to tell me how much they enjoyed them.

The Fourth of July brought the heat 🥵, long lines, and lots of delicious empanadas.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a meal, and supported our small business. Your support means the world to us.
