Semester 3 out of 5 was hectic! I took on a cake decorating class that was so much fun. Additionally, a bread class that pushed me beyond my limits, teaching me the value of patience and perseverance. 😬 Then to conclude my semester, I took a Quantity Bakeshop class that taught me how to bake in large batches.

Although I'm currently living in Corpus, I'm excited to continue pursuing my passion for baking by accepting small orders. I frequently go to Rockport to see family, which enables me to continue bringing baked goods there! 🤩 Usually weekends work best for me!

Last week… 1- I got married, and 2- I made my own wedding cake. This was the FIRST wedding cake and the FIRST tiered cake I’ve done! I’m just surprised it’s standing up straight and not leaning over.

I made an Italian Cream Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. After I finish culinary school I hope to make more wedding cakes in the future!
