Teenage years are officially ashore! 🌅 Had so much fun creating this beach themed half sheet cake for my nephew's 13th birthday. The top scene was "painted" using whipped cream frosting and cookie crumb sand. Underneath the waves? A crowd favorite: and fresh strawberry filling. 🍓🌊

Happy Halloween! 🎃

These were super easy to make. Roll 2 pre-made or homemade pie crusts a little thinner and cut out some circles. I got 8 circles from each crust, re-rolled the scraps and got a few more. Fill with cherry pie filling. Cut slits for the eyes and mouth. Brush with egg wash.
Bake at 450F for about 15 minutes.
Glaze for added sweetness and shine (I did this after the pic was taken)
