😂 8 slides. I know. I’m sorry. Please don’t unfollow me!

But listen… when the cookies are this pretty, one slide simply wasn’t enough. 🙄👑✨

And yes, I’ve been MIA and super behind on posts 🫣
So naturally, I’m returning with EIGHT. WHOLE. SLIDES.

Swipe through. Pick your favorite dress. I’ll wait. 👀

🏈 How did I come up with this football-themed 1st birthday cookie set.

✨Planning it’s the first step with every set I create. I pull out the cookie cutters and place them on a baking sheet to see how they look and feel.

✨Always start with what your client actually asked for. The theme was “first down” and my client wanted to make sure I included his name.

✨Once the “must-haves” are done, I layer in ideas I love — like the foam finger and the yard lines in the 1, which added a playful twist without straying from the theme.

✨Cohesion is everything. Deciding on a color palette that harmonizes is crucial so every cookie feels like part of one story.
I exclusively use natural food coloring, so measuring the icing quantity to not run out mid set it’s very important, & this is when experience matters.

✨The final challenge is balance — not every cookie can be intricate, or the set feels overwhelming. Simple pieces (like the “1st year down” goalpost) give the eye somewhere to rest.

It’s a lot more than just icing and sugar cookies, it’s a methodical process that start when the client reaches out, and it ends when I package and close each box.

🏈 Which cookie is your favorite?🏈
