I want to make survey - would you like to have as Father’s Day treat/dessert instead of box - sourdough coffee cake, sourdough Bundt cake or Cinnamon roll cake (6 rolls).

Seasonal/holiday boxes are not popular first time in 6 years, so I decided to offer this option.

May every child is healthy, loved, fed, educated, has loving parents and home.
It’s breaking my heart how many children are abused, missing, starving, sick, homeless….we as country and world really have to do better!
Screaming to protect children doesn’t mean protection!

🧄🧀 Inside of roasted garlic Parmesan Italian herbs fresh rosemary loaf before shaping for overnight proof. Today’s humid wasn’t in favor for this and regular bread.

If you need something new to add to this summer’s barbecue, here’s old fashioned Czechoslovak “Nakladaný hermelín” - in oil fermented Brie with spices, herbs, onion and garlic.

Make a layers of cheese, herbs, veggies and over each layer pour neutral oil according your taste.
🌶️🧄🧅🫙
I used - spices - Hungarian paprika, whole cumin, peppercorns, whole cloves, bay leaves, chili flakes, celery seeds.
I didn’t have fresh chili, so I used flakes - fresh is better, or sliced jalapeños.
🌿🌿
Fresh herbs and veggies - Mexican green onions, garlic, thyme, oregano, sage, rosemary.
I had rosemary infused vegetable oil since winter so I used it.

You can make any combination you like.
Use glass jar, keep in the fringe, don’t open at least for a week, 2 weeks even better.

Luigi sourdough starter was on the road trip today!
As we had to drop off our Triumph at Brothers Powersports for tires replacement 5 sourdough in folding/stretch stage have to go with me.
FYI containers were in air conditioned car whole the time - if someone worries about food safety.
We had dinner Crazy Erics appreciation group to honor National Burger Day.
This is the only place I eat “fast food”. Had delicious Kraut hotdog, homemade fries and onion rings. Doug had burger.
Happy to support local businesses.

Italian starter brought by Ukrainian Master Baker living in Slovakia gifted me Luigi 4 years ago so I can spread sourdough love in the USA.
Luigi was mailed by me to 7 states so far (8 including WA).
