☀️ Good afternoon!

I’ve been busy baking today, and The Bake Shed has some yummy goodies waiting for you! 😋

I started the morning with a cookie order and then was able to get a few different kinds of cookies made, along with traditional cinnamon rolls AND caramel pecan cinnamon rolls! 🤤🍪

I had lots of folks reach out asking when goodies would be available, so stop by at your convenience and grab something before they disappear!

❤️ Just a friendly reminder: If there’s a name on something, it’s already spoken for. Please make sure to leave those goodies for the person who ordered them. Thank you!

If I get some time tomorrow morning, I’ll see what else I can whip up for the shed! 😊

Good afternoon, community! ❤️

I’ve had a few people reach out asking about baked goods in The Bake Shed since you haven’t seen one of my usual posts lately, so I wanted to give everyone a quick update!

I do apologize for being a little quiet. We are currently dealing with a rather large bee infestation that has unfortunately found its way into our bedroom! 🐝😩 Thankfully, this is completely separate from and is not affecting my baking area or any baked goods, but it is something we need to get taken care of before it becomes a bigger problem.

So please bear with me for just a little bit! I’m hoping to get back into the kitchen and have some fresh baked goods available in the shed this coming week. 🧁🍪

Thank you to everyone who reached out, and especially to those of you who noticed I hadn’t posted! 😊 I truly appreciate you thinking of The Bake Shed and continuing to support my little business.

Another special birthday cake going out this week! 😊

You may remember the cake I recently had the honor of making for Mrs. Rupert’s incredible 100th birthday celebration. Well, her daughter, Mrs. Jean, reached out to me and asked if I would make a German Chocolate Cake for her husband’s birthday—and of course I said yes! 😊

I love when one special order leads to another, and it means so much when someone trusts The Bake Shed to be a small part of another family celebration.

A little Bake Shed weekend update 🤍

I decided to hold off on stocking the Shed with fresh goodies this weekend.

With school starting Tuesday, the Grange Fair in full swing, back-to-school expenses, and just how busy this time of year can be, I figured this might be a good weekend to give The Shed a little break. 😊

I know budgets are tight for a lot of families right now, and I never want to bake just for the sake of filling the Shed and then have food go to waste. Foot traffic has also naturally slowed down as summer has gone on, so I’m trying to be mindful about when it makes sense to fully stock the Shed.

That doesn’t mean The Bake Shed is closed! I still have a few baked goodies tucked away in the freezer, perfectly good and ready to enjoy, so if you’re craving something, just send me a message!

And, of course, special orders are always welcome! I have a wedding cake coming up in September that I’m really excited to create. 🎂 If you have a birthday, celebration, event, or just need something special, please reach out so I can get you on my calendar. I’m always happy to see what we can come up with!

I’ll continue to share when the Shed is freshly stocked and when special goodies are available.

🎉 Two very special celebrations in one order! 🎉

Congratulations to T.J.'s Family Haircare on 17 years of serving our community! What an incredible milestone!

To help celebrate their anniversary, The Bake Shed had the pleasure of making 6 dozen cookies:

And tucked into this order is an extra-special celebration… Mrs. Munira is turning 100 years old! 💯🎂

Her birthday cake is a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. I was told that she loves flowers, so I incorporated lots of flowers into her cake design. I hope she loves it just as much as I loved creating it for such an amazing milestone.

Every meal helps support local youth robotics, and we truly appreciate everyone who comes out to support the club!

Everyone is invited, and every person who joins us can make a difference. Enjoy a night out with no cooking—bring the kids, grandkids, grandparents, friends, neighbors, or the whole family! Turn it into a big gathering, enjoy a great meal, and support local youth at the same time.

Our students meet year-round, three evenings each week from 5:30–8:00 PM. That adds up to nearly 400 scheduled club hours per student each year dedicated to learning, designing, programming, building, testing, problem-solving, and working together as a team.

And that is only their regular meeting time—before counting competitions, outreach events, fundraising, preparation, travel, and the many additional hours required throughout the season.

These students put an incredible amount of time, effort, and dedication into Nittany Robotics Club. Community support helps ensure they can continue learning, growing, competing, and becoming successful both inside and outside of robotics.

Anyone else love chocolate zucchini bread?! 🍫🥒 It is SO good!

Two loaves of chocolate zucchini bread and one big loaf of traditional zucchini bread made today! 😋

I love making multiple loaves at once — zucchini bread freezes beautifully, so you can enjoy one now and tuck the extras away for later.

That is, as long as my daughter doesn’t eat it all tonight! 😂 She LOVES zucchini bread, so we’ll see how much actually makes it to the freezer!
