Hello everyone! So I just wanted to give a little background on the Sweet Spot! My name is Alyssa, I am a Port Lavaca native that has been baking for over 10 years. I started baking for my family back then when I was a stay at home mom, only to realize that I absolutely loved every bit of what it takes to create amazing delicious treats! It just kind of took off from there once family and friends started asking for me to create their custom cakes and other goodies for birthday’s, get together’s and other events and it was an amazing experience. But I decided to take a break and started working. Well I wasn't able to leave it alone completely and kept doing little things for family. Then this year I got the opportunity to bake for my Grandmother’s wedding and just like that. I was determined to get back into baking full force. So I am taking on at least 2-3 orders a week now and am really hoping that my dream of owning my own bakery one day will come true! So to all that have ordered and will be placing orders in the future I would like to thank you all!! Because you are all pushing me closer and closer to my dream!! - Alyssa Le
