We’ve gotten a lot of new followers recently and I realized I haven’t introduced myself since we open in April 2025!

My name is Donna Audet, I’m a mom to 2 kiddos. I have a 9 year old son and almost 5 year old daughter! Im a fur mama to our big gentle giant Koda and I’m also a wife! My husband Matt is also a local small business owner, if you ever tree work and more he’s your guy! We moved to port Charlotte from Massachusetts 5 years ago. I grew up in a big Italian family and someone was always cooking or baking! I grew up in the kitchen with my mama, nana and great great aunt watching them cook and bake always. My mom always had fresh baked goods in the house when we were growing up. A lot of my recipes are family recipes that were shared from my nana down to my mom down to me!

Where did the name Nonnie come from? My son actually gave me the idea for it! In 2023 my mom passed away from a long battle with lung cancer. My kids called her Nonnie. When I decided to start a cottage bakery my son said we should name it after my mom because that’s where I got my love of baking from and the name just stuck!❤️

I’m a small home based bakery and everything you order is made fresh when ordered to ensure you get the best baked goods possible!! I raise my own chickens for eggs used in my baking and always use the best fresh ingredients! I appreciate all my customers always! Thanks for choosing me for your baked goods!!❤️

It has been a very busy few days! Over 60 cookies and 6 trays of brownies baked!!🍪

2 of those brownie trays have been cut and packed for my son’s class tomorrow for their class party!

Finishing the week tomorrow with 40+ cinnamon buns and muffins for an event this weekend!
