Since opening orders back up, I’ve been getting an influx of AI Generated references for cakes to be recreated.
I will no longer be accepting AI-generated cake designs sent at reference photos for cakes!
Artificial intelligence can create illusions that cannot be replicated properly. The textures, materials, and structures defy the laws of physics and sets unrealistic expectations.
Personally, I support real human artistry. The time, skill, and talent that it takes for a cake decorater to create a product should be celebrated, not reduced to a digital illusion.
Instead of sending AI images, I encourage you to send:
Real photos of cakes
Color palettes, invitation designs, decor inspirations
A rough description of your cake
AI will always have a place in society, and it’s nearly impossible not to use it- but it should NOT be used to replace artists of all kinds!
Thank you for your understanding 🤍
