My heart is so full! Yesterday was absolutely amazing!! 🥹🫶🏻

I spent two years working on legislation to support our local cottage industry because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to turn something they love into a way to support themselves and their families. Seeing that work make a real difference in people’s lives means more to me than words can express. This is exactly why I do what I do! I love supporting our local entrepreneurs, watching their dreams grow, and seeing our communities thrive. ❤️

🍪💜 Bakers Bash was a SUCCESS! 💜🍪

What a beautiful day filled with amazing bakers, delicious goodies, and wonderful people! ☀️ While I didn’t completely sell out, my Almond Bliss Ooey Gooey and Pecan’t Resist cookies came pretty close! 🥹🤎

We even had our state Representative Kim Landry Coates stop by and purchase a little something from the vendors! How amazing is that?! 🫶🏻

I finally got to show off my 3D-printed Simply Sweet logo, made by my amazing husband! 🥹💜 It was so exciting to finally have a little piece of my brand displayed on my table! 🥰

As someone who is naturally shy, I’m proud of myself for stepping out of my shell a little, officially meeting some of our amazing local bakers, and bringing home a few goodies of my own! 🧁

Overall, it was such a wonderful experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next Bakers Bash! 🥰

Now, it’s time to enjoy a day or two of rest before getting back into the kitchen to prepare for my next market on October 17 at Cooper Creek Antiques for Vintage Market Days! 🍂🍪

🔥 FROM THIS… TO THIS. 🔥

Meet Campfire Cravings 🍪🏕️

It starts with a whole lot of chocolate, Hershey’s milk chocolate pieces, chocolate chips, and crushed graham crackers… 🤎

Then it gets baked up and topped with a toasted marshmallow for that perfect campfire-s’mores finish. 🔥☁️🍫

Basically, I took everything we love about sitting around a campfire making s’mores and turned it into a cookie.

And honestly? I think I nailed it. 😍

Who needs a campfire when you have cookies like these? 👀🔥
