Howard "Mike" Morris

PONCA CITY, OKLAHOMA - Mike "Howard" Morris, 74, passed away on November 30, 2023, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was born on February 12, 1949, in Emporia, Kansas.
Mike was a loving, kind, compassionate, and a fighter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Morris, of the home. He is also survived by his brother, Wes Sauer and wife Audry of Washburn, North Dakota. Aunt Katherine “Bunny” Rakstad of North Dakota.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Howard Morris, his mother, Helen (Stensrud) Morris, his sister, Patricia Holloway, and his brothers, Don and Jim.
Mike attended the University of Wyoming for his higher education.
He dedicated his career to helping others. Mike worked for Jay Warner Wrecker from 1981 until 2014. He found fulfillment in his job because he was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. In 2015, he joined Bridgeway Inc., where he worked until his passing.
In his free time, Mike enjoyed spending quality moments with his beloved wife and their cat, Handful.
A memorial service will be held on Friday December 8th 10: am at VFW Post 1201 Ponca City. Following the service a meal with all of Mike’s favorites will be served,
