I’m a firm believer in using only the finest organic ingredients—flour, water, and salt—as I create each loaf with care and patience. From feeding my starter to watching dough rise

slowly and naturally, it’s a satisfying process that connects me to tradition while offering a creative outlet. Every loaf is a labor of love, and there's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through my home. Whether I’m baking for family, friends, or just for the joy of it, sourdough is my passion, and I love sharing that passion with others.

Dear Friends, Customers, and Community,

We are writing to share that Nona’s Breads and Sweets is now permanently closed as of today.

This decision has not come easily. What started as a simple dream grew into something far more meaningful because of each and every one of you. Our bakery was never just about bread and pastries—it was about community, connection, and the joy of sharing something made with love. Seeing your familiar faces, hearing your stories, and being a small part of your daily lives has meant everything to us.

We are deeply grateful for the support you have shown us over the years. You helped turn our passion into something truly special, and for that, we will always be thankful.

Unfortunately, due to my husband’s health issues, we must step away and focus on what matters most—our family. While it is incredibly difficult to close this chapter, we know this is the right decision for us at this time.

Thank you for welcoming Nona’s Breads and Sweets into your lives and for allowing us to be part of this wonderful community. We will carry these memories with us always.

To our porch bakery family —

I wanted to share a personal update.

Due to some very difficult and unexpected health challenges with my husband, and because of his recent timeline, I have made the hard decision to temporarily close the bakery so I can be fully present as his caregiver during this time.

This little porch bakery has meant so much to me, and the love and encouragement you’ve shown from our front porch has carried me more than you know.
