Good morning-

I just want to thank everyone for their kind words and well wishes for recovery after gallbladder surgery.
As of today, I’m feeling a lot better. My stomach muscles are still really sore but I feel so much better. Thank god for pain meds!

I will slowly start taking orders again mid-week.
I’ve also been baking to keep busy so I will possibly be putting the pink cheesecake cart out next weekend. My goal is to stick to fall flavors so you can sample from the Thanksgiving menu. Not quite ready to jump back into work at Arcadia just yet but I’ve been keeping their desserts stocked up.

I have also been working on my Thanksgiving menu. Let me know what your favorites are and maybe they will make the list. 😊

Hi friends- I have been really quiet lately and with reason.

I have been down with what I thought was a kidney issue. Until I went to the doctor several times and they kept telling me I was dehydrated. Yesterday, I went back in to unitypoint in ankeny with pain and they drew blood. And after results came back the doctor called and told me to get my butt to the ER.

Got to the hospital did more testing and my gallbladder and pancreas are really enlarged. White blood cell count is really high and causing me to itch really bad and high enzyme count on my liver.
Sound like surgery tomorrow!!!

So needless to say, I will be out of the cheesecake game for a bit.
I’ll be back at it as soon as I can.
