It’s come to our attention that some pastries that were made yesterday in Polebridge were sprinkled with salt instead of sugar.

If you bought a pastry from us yesterday in Polebridge or at the Whitefish Farmers Market, that seemed a little too savory. We apologize and would be happy to replace the product you bought with a new one free of charge.

If you’re not near Polebridge, we also have a location in town located at 300 Windmill Dr. unit B. We would love to make this right and once again apologize for this happening ❤️

38 years ago tonight, September 7th, the Red Bench fire tore through downtown Polebridge.

The man seated behind the Northern Lights Saloon sign is Larry Humphrey. He was USFS wild-land fire fighter.

He saved the Polebridge Mercantile that night when an ember 🔥 began to burn in the attic.
