La D'zert Cafe Big change coming in 2027 for the business! We’ll continue accepting cheesecake orders if we have availability 🩷 At this time we are order-only.

We will be revamping as a private bakery/venue, only taking on weddings/graduations/special events if you are hosting your party with us. In May of 2024 we decided to pull back from being open to the public in order to build our catering department. Availability is limited but we will squeeze orders in if we can. We cater small- medium size luncheons - dinner parties (in the shop or in the client's home) - tea parties - birthdays - meetings and can seat up to 20-22 people in the house. More seating is available outside on the porch during warmer temps. Call us today and we can discuss a menu, or treat, that we can prepare for you and your guests. We love and appreciate our community and we love growing with you!

Happy 102nd Birthday, Ellen Boos

Ellen Boos is celebrating her 102nd this weekend. (Her birth certificate says 16th but her mother told her it was the 17th and “she should know”. By the time the country doctor arrived at the home to deliver her, it was the next day and most likely he didn’t change his records back at his office.) Ellen celebrated her special day with a lunch with her children Barb Klapp, Randy Boos and Jan Bean, and a special visit from her sister-in-law from Winamac, Carolyn Boos, and her daughters, Gale Spry and Elaine Voltz. After working many years at the Plymouth Public Library, her favorite spot at Miller’s is the shelves of books she passes each day on her way to the dining room or to the rec room for events. Her family feels blessed that the many employees at Miller’s Senior Living feel like family to her.
