My poor sweet kitchen 😭

For the foreseeable future I will not be taking any orders, or appearing at any markets.

Unfortunately the majority of my baking stuff was where the most aggressive part of the fire was. I lost all of my tips, pipings bags, cake scrapers, spatulas, chocolate molds, turn tables, and the list goes on.
I spent years slowly collecting all of my tools. With the lack of space and saving every bit we can for a new house someday, I’ll be out of the game for a while.
Thank you all for the support and love you all have given me for the last couple of years. I loved meeting so many beautiful souls! I’ll be back someday ❤️

My bestie and business partner will be at the south bend artisan market today from 9-2!
She has spent every free moment this week helping me get our family situated and replacing some of the necessities.

A year ago almost to date I posted a fundraiser about a family that lost their house in a fire. Never did I imagine a year later I would be posting about losing my own home in a fire.

Yesterday morning at 6:20 am my German shepherd (Riot) woke us up barking and going crazy. My kids were sleeping in my bed with me and I looked at our ring camera and saw smoke. Our smoke alarms had not yet gone off. I grabbed my kids and dogs and got them all to safety in our van. Within minutes our house was filled with smoke and our windows were shattering from the heat. I went back in to try to find my cats and couldn’t so I opened the door where they usually sleep so they could have a way out.

Every one of my animals made it out alive. My cats were found hiding in my kids room after the fire was put out. I am beyond grateful that we aren’t mourning any lives today.

Yesterday we were consoled by the fact that our homeowners insurance would help us rebuild our beautiful home. Until we found out due to a payment error our homeowners had been cancelled unbeknownst to us.

If you know me personally you know I hate to ask for help, and hate even more to accept it. But right now I have to swallow my pride and ask for and accept any help we can get.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

If you are new here, HI!

If you didn’t know, my husband just graduated nursing school a few weeks ago! He’ll be taking on a nursing position as well as remaining a full time firefighter 🥵
What a hard worker, right?!

Since my husband will be working two jobs, we are expecting him to be gone a lot. With two little kids (4 and 6), my family needs me to be more present. So I will be slowing down significantly on the custom orders I’ll be taking.

Don’t worry! I’ll still be at the Mishawaka market every Sunday through September! ❤️
If you have a standing order with me, it will still be fulfilled!

If you are hoping to have a future custom order with me, send me a message! I will still be taking SOME orders, but not EVERY order!
