Brief Introduction
In 2012 I was randomly asked to do a wedding cake for a family friend.
Since then I have done lots of cakes for friends and family. Over the years it has become a driving force for me. I set the bar high for myself and I have no plans to fail. Things have changed and been postponed and changed and postponed. lol
Today, my goal is open a storefront. Even though home baking is legal it’s a constant battle of what can be sold out of your home and how much money can be made. A storefront has been on my mind for the last 2-3 years. Each year I am getting closer and closer.
I currently bake out of my less than 200 square foot apartment kitchen. On one 3 foot counter. My husband loathes me some days. Maybe most days. The dishwasher is always going. There are always pans waiting to be washed. The oven is always being used and the fridge is full of ingredients that he can’t eat. I live in an upper apartment and have been here since I started baking.
