🍂✨ Light Up Your Fall Nights with DIY Luminaries!

Give your porch a warm, welcoming glow with this simple fall DIY! These charming paper bag luminaries are inexpensive, easy to make, and perfect for cozy autumn evenings. 🍁

🛍️ WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Brown, black, or orange paper bags

White or translucent paper for lining

Fall leaf stencils or templates

Scissors or craft knife

Sand or small pebbles

Battery-operated LED tea lights

🍁 HOW TO MAKE THEM:

1️⃣ Choose your design. Trace maple leaves, oak leaves, or acorns onto your paper bags.

2️⃣ Cut your shapes. Carefully cut out the designs, then line the inside with translucent paper to create a soft glow.

🍎🍂 Make Your Home Smell Like Fall!

Forget expensive candles! This easy DIY simmer pot fills your home with the cozy scents of apples, citrus, cinnamon, and warm spices. Best of all, you can use leftover fruit peels you might otherwise toss!

🍁 WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

4 apple peels 🍎

2 orange peels 🍊

2–3 cinnamon sticks

2–3 star anise (optional)

2 bay leaves (optional)

¼ tsp whole cloves (optional)

Water

🍂 HOW TO MAKE IT:

Stovetop Method:

Add all ingredients to a medium pot.

Cover with water and bring to a gentle simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let the cozy fragrance fill your home.

Add more water as needed to prevent the pot from drying out.

Slow Cooker Method:

Place all ingredients in your slow cooker.

Add approximately 4 cups of water, or enough to cover the ingredients.

Set to LOW with the lid slightly ajar to release the fragrance.

Check periodically and replenish water as needed.

✨ TIP: Try adding a few fresh apple or orange slices for an extra burst of fragrance! Never leave a simmer pot unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
