🐾🏈 SURPRISE LOAF TIME! 🏈🐾

We’ve given Nebraska, Iowa, KU, and K-State their moment in the spotlight… but there’s one very important member of the Sploot family we haven’t represented yet:

Dad — our favorite football official! 🦓🏈❤️

So naturally, this week’s surprise loaf had to wear the stripes.

🦓 ZEBRA STRIPE SOURDOUGH 🦓

A sweet sourdough loaf swirled with vanilla and chocolate dough and little pockets of chocolate goodness throughout. Every loaf will have its own unique stripes — just like the guys running up and down the field trying to keep everybody in line. 😂

And while the rest of us may have our favorite teams, Dad has spent plenty of Friday nights putting on those black-and-white stripes and making the calls.

The corgis would like it noted that Dad is officially their favorite football official… although they reserve the right to challenge any ruling involving treats, bedtime, or being called for unnecessary roughness. 🐶🚩😂

So this one is for Dad and all the zebras out there keeping the game moving! 🖤🤍🏈

Dad took me for a golf cart ride and I’m pretty sure this is exactly the kind of lifestyle I was meant for.

Fresh air. Wind in my fur. Cruising the neighborhood. Looking ridiculously handsome while doing it.

The corgis have tolerated Nebraska talk, side-eyed the Iowa announcement, and practiced their Rock Chalk for the KU grads in the family…

…but now it’s time for the team that really has Mom’s heart.

🔵🔴 ROCK CHALK, SPLOOT SQUAD! 🔴🔵

Rumor has it we’ve got a couple KU grads in the family, so apparently the corgis have been informed they need to work on their Rock Chalk before KU’s first game. 😂🐾

So far the practice session has consisted of:

tail wag
“Chalk…”
head tilt
“Jayhawk…”
someone runs off with a dish towel

We’re calling it progress. 😆

And while their chant may still need a little work, the KU flavors definitely understood the assignment.
