AHardyLoaf brought in some professional size help!! Meet the newest member in my kitchen!! This is Doughlene! She is an industrial 30qt mixer who can mix up to 20 loaves of sourdough at 1 time! Although not saving me anytime (hand mixing is faster) she will give me more consistent dough texture but more importantly SAVE MY ARMS AND SHOULDERS!! last summer I was hand mixing 150 loaves each week for farmers market! It took a toll on my body and made each week less enjoyable and more of a chore- I am hoping Doughlene can help bring the excitement and joy back to baking for my community and keep up with the demands! I cannot wait for next market week to try her out!!!
