A quick note to my customers and friends

With everything that we are all experiencing with COVID-19, I wanted to take a moment to update you on what we are doing here at KimCake. During these unstable times, it is so very important to know where your sweets and treats are coming from. With this in mind, I wanted to share a little bit of news that I am so excited about. Last August, I moved my bakery from my home kitchen to a commercial kitchen in Farmers Branch. The past few months have been quite a transition as I have worked through the changes this has brought to my business and my family.

As KimCake has entered a new stage of our business growth, we move forward with your safety at heart. We are a registered business with a commercial kitchen. We maintain liability insurance and are routinely and randomly inspected by the city Health Department. We have completed all requirements for food safety and correct handling procedures. We will continue to carry on with our high standards and normal routine of triple sanitizing everything and wearing food safety gloves.

As we are all cautioned to have social distancing…birthdays and celebrations, continue to happen. A sweet moment does not just have to be in the big celebration, it can happen just as beautifully in the small. KimCake will continue to provide our clients with the same high quality products that you have come to know, love and expect with an increased awareness of our cleanliness procedures.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds in North Texas. Until then, please use common sense, wash your hands, don’t touch your face in public, stay safe. And don’t forget to celebrate the sweet moments in your life with a piece of cake, a cupcake or three and maybe even a cookie.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the your sweet moments! You have all been such a blessing to my family and me.
