One day I’ll be good at getting great pictures of the bakes I make, but celebrating this guy was top priority this weekend!

We had his party at the park and if you look close, you can see the cake is sweating (and the last couple pieces left had melted). Puerto Rico is HOT so I kept his cake in the freezer till we left and tried to keep it out of the sun so it would still be in tact to sing happy birthday! If you’re having a party outside, try to keep the cake in a cool spot until you’re ready to take pictures and sing🎂

I’ve gotta be honest, snickerdoodles have always been towards the bottom of my favorite cookies list. But THESE?! I’ve already eaten 3 from the taste batch I made last night… they are so. good. They’re soft and chewy and made my home smell like Christmas when they were baking🥰🎄 I’ll be taking orders in my stories or you are welcome to message me! They will be ready next Friday, Dec. 8th!!

I have a debate I need settled...do you save your birthday candles? Growing up I could always find a ziploc of slightly melted birthday candles so we always had them but kohl throws them away after one round of “Happy Birthday”🤯 What side of this are you on?

My baby turned one today! We celebrated with a small, Peter Rabbit themed party and had this golden Oreo cake😍 It has vanilla cake, golden Oreo filling, with vanilla buttercream decorated with blue stripes to match Peter Rabbit (& my boy’s dreamy blue eyes💙🥰)
