Many of you know how trying this year has been for my family. My Tristan (my son ) over the summer had to be rushed to the hospital to help save his life due to a food allergy he had. My mom had been hospitalized very often over the course of the year. She went to many different hospitals and was taken care of by so many wonderful doctors and nurses. I'm truly thankful for all the hard work and effort given to take care of so many in my family. I want to pay it forward by giving a Valentine's Gift to members of the healthcare team at St. Joe's Hospital.
Healthcare has been soooo challenging the past 2 years, and it’s really bad again with the Covid surge. They are short staffed everywhere, taking too many patients, doning and dofing (taking on & off) gowns, gloves, and masks so many times in a day it’s impossible to count. The nurses, doctors, techs, housekeepers, and many others are exhausted!! 😩💗
