🍪 The lifecycle of a cookie from Jo’s Dough : 🍪

⭐️ First - a soft, sweet cookie dough loaded with yummy toppings and mix ins 😋
⭐️ Second - a weighed out and perfectly round, cute little dough ball is formed ⚽️
⭐️ Third - said dough ball is nestled up cozy next to its brother and sister dough balls for a nice little chilled nap 🧊😴
⭐️ Fourth - after waking from a nice little winter’s nap, our cute little dough balls are lined up on a parchment paper cookie sheet, preparing for the big transformation 🎥📸
⭐️ Fifth - once a cute little dough ball, now transformed to a warm and gooey, beautifully grown cookie emerges from the oven 🤩
⭐️ Sixth - After having a little time to relax from our huge transformation, our now fully grown cookies receive a mandatory, one time “face lift” 💄
⭐️ Seventh - and finally, our cookies are ready to go to their new homes where they will live out a very short, but oh so sweet life. 🏡🫶🏼

✨ What started it all : bagels 🥯 ✨

On a random Friday afternoon in March I saw a video of someone making bagels and thought to myself - “well, surely I can do that!” So I did.. and they were definitely not pretty 🙈 BUT they did taste alright.. (for a rookie 🤭)

After some trial and error, experimenting, and lots of taste tests from my family - now almost 3 months later, I can truly say my bagels are one of my personal favorite items I sell. 😍 Something about a warm, fresh out of the oven, no added chemicals, and locally made baked good.. (literally does not get more local than my own kitchen 😆) just hits the spot every single time! 😋

❓ Will these bagels be offered in the bake stand?!

☀️ Hiiiii friends ☀️

I took a few days off from the baking aspect of my small business doing loooots of behind the scenes things! 🤫

I will be busy the rest of this week catching up on current orders so I can begin preparing for OPENING DAY OF MY STAND 🥳🥳🥳🥳

🚨 I am tentatively aiming to have opening week be June 13-14. 🤞🏼 🚨

Who has the best future brother-in-law?!

This girl does! 🙋🏻‍♀️ (I’ve truly got the best village a girl could ask for 🥹)

Went and picked up this wagon a couple weekends ago, and this weekend he and my fiancé completely transformed it into exactly what I envisioned!! 😍

Now just to paint her and decorate her a little and she will be the PERRRFFEECCTTTT little bake stand for everyone to come try goodies and pick up pre orders at. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Stay tuned friends - this is JUST the beginning of some of the tricks and ideas I’ve got up my sleeve. 🤭🫶🏼
