Introducing the face behind Peony Cupcakes 🧁
You’ve seen the cupcakes, but you may not have seen the person who makes them. I’m Morgan, the baker behind Peony Cupcakes.
I’ve never really been comfortable putting myself in front of the camera for my business, so this shoot was a little different for me. I wanted to show a more personal side of Peony Cupcakes and the person behind the orders you see on this page.
There’s a lot that goes into this little business that you don’t always get to see. It’s not always glamorous, and there’s definitely plenty of flour, dishes, and mess along the way, but it’s become such a special part of my life. I’m really happy to finally have photos that show a little bit of what goes on behind the scenes.
These photos feel like a snapshot of Peony Cupcakes as it really is: the kitchen, the creativity, the hard work, the little details, and me right in the middle of it all.
And of course, a huge thank you to Will for spending the day behind the camera and to Ola for letting us use her beautiful kitchen as the backdrop. You both helped bring this vision to life, and I couldn’t be happier with how these photos turned out. 📸🤍
