Terms & Conditions — The Köokē Jar
1. Orders & Deposits
• All custom cake and treat orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to secure your date.
• No order is considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 5 days prior to pickup or delivery.
2. Payments
• The Köokē Jar accepts Zelle, Cash App, debit/credit cards, and cash.
• Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your order and forfeiture of your deposit.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Cancellations made more than 7 days before your scheduled date may receive a credit toward a future order (at The Köokē Jar’s discretion).
• Cancellations made within 7 days of your scheduled date will forfeit all payments made.
4. Changes to Orders
• Design, size, or flavor changes must be requested at least 7 days prior to your event date.
• Any changes made after that time cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
5. Allergies
• The Köokē Jar is not an allergen-free kitchen. Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and soy.
• It is the client’s responsibility to notify guests of any potential allergens.
6. Pickup & Delivery
• Pickup and delivery times are scheduled in advance and must be followed as agreed.
• Late pickups may result in a late fee.
• Once products have been picked up or delivered, The Köokē Jar is not responsible for any damages that occur thereafter.
• For deliveries, please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the scheduled time.
7. Design Disclaimer
• All of our cakes and treats are handcrafted, and slight variations from reference images may occur due to artistic interpretation, color tones, and ingredient availability.
• Colors may appear differently in person or under various lighting conditions.
8. Storage & Handling
• Detailed storage instructions are provided with each order.
• The Köokē Jar is not responsible for damages or quality issues resulting from improper handling or storage once the product has left our possession.
9. Photography & Marketing
• The Köokē Jar reserves the right to photograph and share all creations on social media, marketing materials, or promotional platforms.
• Client names and event details will remain confidential unless permission is granted.
10. Agreement
By placing an order with The Köokē Jar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions listed above.
