Hi everyone!

I feel like with the new year and seeing an increase in page traffic, I owe you all an update.

First - I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, happy 2026! As I’ve mentioned before, last year we welcomed a new little girl to our family and I accepted a new position at work. This season of life has been especially more busy than I had anticipated! The toddler is toddler-ing in the best way, that baby girl is stuck to me like glue, and work is.. more work. I can’t even tell you the last time I baked bread for our family (part of that might be brain fog or part of it might be because it was actually too long ago 😅). I know last year I had initially mentioned that I would likely be back around the holidays, and that didn’t happen. I kept telling myself that I would have time to return to baking in some capacity, but that never came to fruition and I’m not sure when it will - and that’s fine.

I started baking sourdough because I wanted to provide a healthier option for myself and my family, and it quickly spiraled into me wanting to share that with you all. From there, I enjoyed getting creative and branching out into more than just bread.. as well being able to have a front seat watching it become part of your weekly staples, and that has made me so happy! For me, it has always been about providing you all with a healthier alternative to store-bought products and that is something I will always be passionate about. If that is still something you seek, there are many local options for sourdough that I would recommend trying if you haven’t already! Please keep in mind that all sourdough is different - from the starter all the way to when it pops out of the oven. Everyone has their own process, with their own delicious end-product!

All of this to say, I’m not sure when I’ll be getting back to baking, but when I do - I’ll be sure to post an update. I still have so many ideas that I would love to bring to life! I am so grateful and I sincerely appreciate all of your support, when I return to this I hope it remains.

Hi Everyone and happy Friday! 👋🏻🥳

Most of you may know, I recently had my second baby and have been on maternity leave since February. I am truly SO blessed that my employer provides 4 months of leave, but that is quickly coming to an end.

With that being said, I’m going to be taking the last few weeks of my leave off from baking to spend time with my family, get my ducks in a row, and prepare for returning to work. Please know that this isn’t goodbye, just simply a pause, as I navigate working from home with not one, but our TWO littles now. 😅

When I am ready to resume baking I will repost my menu so you all are aware. I am SO grateful for everyone and all of the orders that have kept me so busy during this time, I really can’t thank y’all enough! ♥️

Our Mini Brunch Boxes will include a mini Traditional sourdough loaf, 4 sourdough muffins, and 2 oatmeal cream pies for $25.

Orders are due by Saturday and will be available for pick up Tuesday evening at 4 or 5PM at Brookshires in Pittsburg. I will only be making 24 boxes, so get your orders in quick!

Aaaaand that’s a wrap! 🎬

Y’all, we showed up with 88 sourdough loaves, muffins, and oatmeal cream pies and left empty handed! I loved seeing familiar faces from last year as well as our regulars, this makes all of the hard work worth it.

I’m so thankful for Mayben’s Lifestyle & Apparel for having me yet again, along with my village that supports me and helped make today happen! ♥️
