The Porch Stand Is Coming Back! 🍂🍪

Well… I think it’s time we bring the porch stand back. 🥹

We’re looking at **September 12th–13th** for the **Magnolia & Jade Porch Stand Reopening!** 🌿

And yes, I’m calling it a *reopening* because this isn’t our first rodeo. 😂 The porch stand has just been taking a little summer break while it was approximately **1,000 degrees outside.**

Our return is going to be **completely dependent on the weather**, because I refuse to put beautiful cookies, cakesicles and other treats out there just to have the North Carolina heat turn them into a puddle. 😅

So if the weather cooperates, we’ll be back on the porch with a fresh lineup of Magnolia & Jade treats, ready for you to stop by and grab something sweet!

🎉 **A NEW PARTNERSHIP!** 🎉

We’re so excited to officially be partnering with **Little Paper Co. Celebrations**! 🤍

The idea behind this is pretty simple. We’re both small local businesses serving people who are planning celebrations, so why not help each other out?

For example, if someone is ordering a custom sign from Little Paper Co. Celebrations for a birthday party, they might ask, “What else do you offer?” Or Little Paper Co. might say, “If you’re still looking for desserts, I know someone!” That’s where Magnolia & Jade comes in.

And the same goes for us! If someone is ordering treats from Magnolia & Jade and mentions that they still need a custom sign, we can send them their way.

We’ll each continue handling our own orders, pricing, and payments. We’re simply creating a network of local businesses that can recommend each other when our customers need something we don’t offer.

We’d love to add one more local business to this little party crew, specifically someone who does balloons or balloon decor!

Magnolia & Jade has been SO busy behind the scenes.

I’ve been working on the new Autumn Menu, revamping and elevating the Pumpkin Cookie Flight from last year for its comeback, and… something else.

We tried the email list. Y’all… it just didn’t work for me because apparently I can never remember how to use the dang thing.

I was going to start a texting service, but honestly… I don’t wanna pay for that right now. 😂 Soooo, we’re keeping it simple!

I’ve created a Magnolia & Jade VIP List using a Google Form (attached) where you can sign up with your name and phone number.

**Why you won't find "Play-Doh" cakesicles at Magnolia & Jade 👀**

Let's talk cakesicle texture for a minute.

If you've ever had a cakesicle that was slightly crumbly, gummy, dense, and held together like, well... Play-Doh, you already know exactly what I mean. 😂

And I absolutely **do not like that texture.**

When I started making cakesicles, I knew I wanted mine to be completely different. I wanted the inside to be **smooth, rich, and fudgy**, with more of a truffle-like bite than a ball of compressed cake crumbs.

So that's exactly what I aim for with every cakesicle I make.

✨ **No Play-Doh consistency.**
✨ **No dry, crumbly center.**
✨ **No overly gummy bite.**
✨ Just a smooth, fudgy center surrounded by a crisp chocolate shell.

It's one of those little details that might not seem important until you take that first bite and realize, *oh... THIS is what a cakesicle is supposed to taste like.* 🤎
