Pesto, Bacon & Balsamic Focaccia

This pesto focaccia came out looking (and smelling) absolutely unreal 😍

Pesto, marinated tomatoes, melty mozzarella, spicy cheese, bacon, and a little balsamic glaze to finish it off. Crispy edges, soft fluffy middle, and every bite packed with flavor 🤤

I think this one might need to make a return at The Crumbs and Chaos! 🍞💚

And let me tell you… homemade chili with a grilled cheese made from a loaded chili crunch sourdough loaf is ridiculously good. Crispy, cheesy, a little spicy, and perfect for dunking. Basically, fall comfort food with a tiny kick. 🥪🌶️🍲

Caramel Apple Pecan Sticky Buns. 🍎

Nanny said she likes caramel and apples, so naturally I made Caramel Apple Pecan Sticky Buns. 🍎

Fluffy sourdough-discard dough layered with apple butter and cinnamon freeze-dried apples, then flipped into a sticky maple-brown sugar pecan topping.

I fear I may have outdone myself because LOOK AT HER. 😮‍💨🤤

🫐 Blueberry Cheesecake Sticky Buns 🫐

Soft, fluffy sourdough sticky buns loaded with warm, gooey blueberries, drizzled with cream cheese icing, and finished with crushed graham crackers.

I’m not even going to pretend to be humble—these are so mother freak’n good. 😂 The Crumbs and Chaos has done it again. 💙

Loaded Smoky Jalapeño Crunch Focaccia 🔥🥓🧀

Okayyyy, I fear I may never make regular focaccia again. 😂

This monster is loaded with bacon, fresh & dried jalapeños, chili crunch oil, ranch seasoning, chili seasoning, Kinder’s The Blend, a little Slap Ya Mama, chili flakes AND five cheeses — mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, Romano & smoky pepper Fontál. 🤤

Crispy cheesy edges, golden bottom, ridiculously fluffy inside and THICKKKK. 😮‍💨

At this point, just call me Darieen Crocker because apparently I don’t know how to leave flour alone. 😭😂

🍌 BANANA PUDDING STICKY BUNS 🍌

Okayyyyy, I might’ve done something with these. 😮‍💨😂

Homemade sourdough sticky buns rolled with banana pudding goodness, baked over a gooey brown sugar base, flipped while warm, then covered in banana pudding cream cheese frosting and absolutely LOADED with crushed vanilla wafers and banana pieces. 🤤

And because apparently that wasn’t enough, I had to put a fresh banana slice and vanilla wafer on one just to see the full vision. 😂

🥓🌶️ Garlic Bacon Jalapeño Sourdough Scones 🧀

Tried something savory today and I fear I may have created a problem. 😂

Flaky sourdough discard scones loaded with bacon, dried jalapeños, sharp cheddar, Gouda & Parmesan, seasoned with garlic and ranch, then finished with garlic butter fresh out of the oven.

Crispy cheesy edges, buttery layers, and pockets of melted Gouda throughout. 🤤

I was going to make focaccia today… but I think I made the right decision. 😂

🍫 Caramel Brownie Sourdough Scones 🤎

Because apparently a brownie and a scone needed to have a baby. 😂

Rich chocolate sourdough discard scones made with regular + black cocoa, loaded with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, then finished with a chocolate & caramel drizzle.

Thick, soft, fudgy in the middle and basically somewhere between a brownie and a scone. 🤤
