Cake Dreams by Laura Jeanne usually requires 2 to 4 weeks lead time since all our cakes and cookies are made to order. However, don't hesitate to contact us even if your request is not within the time frame, as we occasionally have last minute openings. PAYMENTS / DEPOSITS
To secure your date onto our calendar a 30% non-refundable retainer is due AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. **Orders are NOT BOOKED until retainer has been paid, therefore guaranteeing the date required by the customer. The remaining balance is due 3 days before your event. Last minute bookings due 1 week or less of the event date must be paid in full at the time of booking. CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that your order is cancelled the 30% retainer is not refundable. We require 2-week notice to cancel an order. If an unexpected cancellation occurs later than the required 14 days all money paid will be lost and a credit will not be issued. NO REFUNDS
We promise to do our best to provide the best tasting and best-looking cakes and cookies around. Orders are created with love just for you. Please keep in mind that no two pieces of art made by people are ever exactly alike. Once an item has been picked up by You or Your Designated Party, and leaves our hands, it is considered "Accepted". In the event that we have made a major mistake to the design theme (sharks instead of unicorns for example) and you alert us at the time of pick up every attempt will be made to correct this error in a timely manner. In the event that we are unable to correct our mistake, you can choose not to accept the order and will not be held responsible for the balance due. While it makes us very sad to make mistakes, and we will never knowingly disappoint you, please remember that people, not machines are making your cakes or cookies. No refund will be given for color selections or minor design discrepancies. ORDER CHANGES
We require 72 hours notice for ALL changes. No changes to size, flavor, or decoration can be made after this time. We cannot guarantee any additional flavors will be available if changes are made within 72 hours. LAST MINUET ORDERS
Last minuet orders (within 1 week from pick up date) are Final when placed and cannot be changed. TRANSPORTING
For orders that are not delivered, you are responsible for transporting your order home safely & we are not responsible once an order leaves our hands. Cakes should never be placed on seats. Place them on the floorboard of the vehicle so they are level.
