The Sweetest Things has been tantalizing tastebuds in the Greater Philadelphia area since 2003.

Some favorites include Red Velvet Cake, Sweet Potato Cheesecake, Turtle Cheesecake and Sour Cream Pound Cake. We've done Unity Day, catered large parties, weddings and birthdays and are a favorite during the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Season.

My daughter requested a cinnamon pound cake for her birthday. So I made this Cinnamon Roll Pound Cake for her and oh my is it good! She doesn't like icing so I did a simple powdered sugar but it can come with a cream cheese icing.

I'm still taking holiday orders this week. Let me know by Friday if you want something. I can arrange for pickup in Overbrook, Ardmore or Claymont (with enough orders).

This morning I had apples leftover from making a Deep Dish Apple Pie. So I made a mini one and an apple crisp. I didn't have any old fashioned oats but I did have some apples & cinnamon oatmeal. I used that as a substitute and it came out perfect!

Over the weekend, I made a quick Sour Cream Pound Cake infused with Tequila. It got rave reviews! Today, I made a Sweet Potato Poundcake with a brown butter and sweet potato honey glaze.

Happy Pride! I made this Pound Cake for Pride in the Park today. It has all of the rainbow colors and not a hint of food coloring in the taste! It's soooo good. Selling for $5 a piece today (amongst other goodies) and the proceeds benefit .
