🖤 Cedar & Sugar Co. Policy Update 🖤

Please take a moment to review these reminders before placing your next order!

📝 Order inquiries
An inquiry form will be sent with every new order request and must be completed. Once you’ve submitted the form, I’ll answer any questions you have!

🧁 Booking & deposits
A completed questionnaire and a 50% deposit are required to secure your custom order. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of receiving your invoice, or your order will be canceled.

💳 Final payment
Your remaining balance is due on pickup day, before your order is brought to the door. Delivery orders must also be paid in full before handoff.

📅 Pickup scheduling
Please select your pickup date—not your event date when ordering, and arrive within your confirmed pickup window. These windows help me balance baking, orders, and my family’s schedule. Morning pick ups are only available during the weekends.

🏡 Picking up
Pickup is in Port Richmond. Ring the bell and provide the name on your order, and I’ll bring your treats to the door. Weekday car-side service isn’t available due to my son’s care needs.

🚗 Delivery
Delivery is available at $1 per mile and must be arranged when booking.

🎃 Holiday preorders
Holiday orders must be placed through the website and paid in full. Preorders close one week before the holiday, with pickup dates and times listed on each menu. Holiday designs cannot be changed.

I’m Jessica—a mom of three, baker, book lover, and Halloween girl at heart. I started this business while home with my youngest, turning my love of baking into something I could share with our community.

Based in Port Richmond, Philadelphia, I create custom cakes, decorated cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, and more! From spooky treats to elegant celebrations, I love bringing your ideas to life through something sweet. ✨

When I’m not baking, you’ll find me with a good book, a comfy blanket, and probably something dark green nearby. 🍂

After being quiet and not posting for almost a month, I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things! Cedar & Sugar Co. is still here, creating custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops for all your special moments. 🖤

My availability is limited, so please reach out as early as possible to secure your date. A 50% deposit is required to officially book, and your order is not confirmed until the invoice is paid.

Thank you for your patience, continued support, and for sticking with me during my little break. I’m excited to start sharing all the sweetness again! 💚

A little personal post from me today. 💚

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter lately, this is why.

The past few weeks have been focused on my family as we celebrated my sweet Alfie’s 3rd birthday. We’ve also had some difficult days navigating autism, so I stepped back to be fully present where I was needed most.

We took a trip down the shore with our family to celebrate. Alfie wasn’t a fan of the beach, but he absolutely loved the boardwalk! He kept us laughing with his silly personality, danced whenever he heard music, and reminded us to find joy in the little moments.

Thank you all for your patience while I took a step back, and thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes for our little guy. Your kindness truly means so much.

As a small business owner and a mom of three, my family will always come first. I appreciate every bit of grace and support you’ve shown while I took the time to celebrate this milestone and recharge.

Now it’s time to get back in the kitchen—I’m excited to create something sweet for all of you again. 💚

💚 A Little Check-In from Cedar & Sugar Co. 💚

Over the last few days, I took a much-needed mental break from the business to unplug, recharge, and spend some quality time with my family. This past weekend was especially special as we celebrated my son’s birthday, and I wanted to be fully present to soak up those moments with him.

If you’ve sent me a message recently, thank you so much for your patience. I’ll be working through all of my messages throughout the day and will get back to everyone as soon as I can.

Please remember that I’m not only the baker behind Cedar & Sugar Co., but also a mom of three. My family will always come first, and I answer messages whenever I’m able between baking, appointments, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with motherhood.

If you’ve seen posts from me over the last few days, those were scheduled ahead of time! My social media posts are automated, and I had my notifications turned off while I took a break, so I wasn’t ignoring anyone—I was simply taking the time I needed to reset and celebrate with my family.

Thank you for always showing me so much grace, patience, and support. Being able to stay home with my children while building Cedar & Sugar Co. is something I’ll never take for granted, and it’s because of all of you that I get to do both.

I’m back and will be responding to messages throughout the day. Thank you again for your understanding—I can’t wait to create something sweet for you! 💚
