To our NYB family,
We miss you. More than I think words can really explain.
For the past six months, the bakery has been quiet, and not having you walk through those doors, seeing familiar faces, hearing the conversations, and getting to serve you the bagels you’ve come to love has been one of the hardest parts of this entire journey. New York Bagels has never felt like just a business to me. It’s the people who made it what it is. Every customer, every familiar face, every “the usual,” and every conversation behind that counter means more to me than you probably realize.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get NYB back where it belongs, and we’re still determined to reopen and welcome everyone home. But after six months without the bakery operating, life and business expenses don’t exactly stop waiting for you.
So, rather than sit around and wait, I decided to put my hands to work and start a little side business doing mobile detailing. It’s nothing fancy—just a way for me to keep moving forward, help cover expenses, and put something aside toward getting the bakery open again.
I’ve been incredibly grateful for how many of you have asked how you can help, and even offered to start a GoFundMe. I’ve always felt that if there’s something I can do myself, I should do it—and this is my way of doing exactly that.
If you need a car cleaned, detailed, or brought back to life a little, I’d be genuinely grateful if you considered giving me a chance. Every car helps, and every bit brings us one step closer to opening those doors again.
Most importantly, thank you for continuing to believe in NYB and for reminding me that what we built together is worth fighting for.
We miss you. We’re working our way back. And I can’t wait for the day I get to hand you your favorite bagel again.
Until then, thank you for being our family. ❤️
