Our friends are back with a Mt. Airy Village Fair fan favorite - our pie eating contest - ALL FACE, NO HANDS! If you are 12 years old or younger (and love pie), then swing by the Info Booth during the Fair to sign up and EAT PIE starting at 12:15PM!

BIG thanks to one of our amazing Presenting Sponsors of the 2026 Mt. Airy Village Fair is donating the main stage for this event and we couldn't be more grateful for the support!

Quintessence Theatre, in residence at the historic Sedgwick Theater in the heart of Mt. Airy, kicks off its seventeenth season this October! From witches to kings, goddesses, and foolish mortals, Season XVII is not to be missed. Visit QTGREP.ORG for more information. We hope folks will get out and support Quintessence this fall.

Join us for the PET PARADE!! Back by popular demand, join us by the stage (THANK YOU to sponsors for the donated stage and for helping get it to us!!) at the corner of Carpenter & Greene from 11:00AM-11:45AM for the PET PARADE. and the kick-off to this year's Mt. Airy Village Fair.

Birds! Cats! Reptiles! Stuffed Unicorns! Dogs! Rodents! Fish! Join us at the corner of Carpenter Lane and Greene Street during the 2025 Mt. Airy Village Fair for the Pet Parade!! ALL friendly pets (and stuffed animal pets too) are welcome for this free, fun, and hat-themed parade. Costumes are appreciated but not required (this year's theme is hats). No sign-up required; just show up at the corner of Carpenter & Greene a little before 11:00AM on Sunday 9/20 and you will welcomed to cross the stage and earn a ribbon. Based on the beloved Ezra Jack Keats children's book titled Pet Show! the pet parade celebrates our community, creativity, generosity, kindness, and love for animals in our lives; and every pet gets a ribbon.⁠

We are honored to welcome back David Dye & Karen Heller to emcee this incredibly sweet, animal-lovin' tradition.

BIG thanks to one of our Presenting Sponsors of the 2026 Mt. Airy Village Fair our neighborhood food co-op and so much more!

Weavers Way is a cooperatively owned food market open to the public. Thanks to the dedication of their members and neighbors throughout the years, a tiny buying club started by a few Mt. Airy neighbors in 1973 has evolved into a multi-store co-op serving more than 14,000 member households. As a cooperative, they ground their efforts in the Seven International Co-op Principles. As a not-for-profit, our organization can put people and planet before profit, focus on issues such as sustainability and community, and make an extra effort to leverage local, sustainable, and ethical food producers.

The thing that makes the Mt. Airy Village Fair special is that every vendor (we call them boothies;) has an interactive component to their booth ... this way there's always something to do, a way to connect, and endless entertainment and fun for the kiddos (and adults too!). Expect art making, butterfly holding, bicycle smoothies, weaving, reading, dancing, resting, bubbles, and so so much more!⁠

Applications are OPEN for booths (our name for vendors), performers, and volunteers for the 17th Annual Mt. Airy Village Fair!!! Head to our website mtairyvillagefair.com for more information and to apply. Space is limited so get your application in now. This is an annual tradition that brings over a thousand friends and neighbors to the corner of Greene and Carpenter for a community fair for and by the neighbors.
