One of my favorite cakes from earlier this year! 😍😍😍😍 I had a loose vision in my head based on some cakes from Pinterest, but I just went for it, adding details and ideas as I went. 😆 Not usually recommended, but thankfully this time, it turned out! 🥰 Perfect for an under-the-sea party!
Inside is a yummy cherry chip cake, wrapped in almond buttercream.

Lovely brown butter layers, smothered with praline and caramelized white chocolate spread, wrapped in Mexican chocolate frosting and topped with some freshly fried churros. 🤤 You need your stretchy pants for this one, but it’s so worth it. 😉

Well, it snowed last night after a week of short sleeve and shorts weather. And instead of celebrating our anniversary today in the way we planned, we’re home with sick kiddos. 😂😜 But all of that’s got NOTHING on this sunshine-y, rainbow-sprinkled, golden Oreo cake. 😍🤤🌈☀️

There are some months when I plan ahead, shoot for being timely and then life gets in the way. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Then there are months where I surprise myself and I am on time. 😜 I’ll let you decide which kind of Month this was. 😉😂 But better late than never, as they say, especially if it’s decadent chocolate cake layers, sandwiching mint crumbles and silky ganache, wrapped in mint Oreo buttercream. 😍😍😍

Happ Valentine’s Day!

Today is always a special day in our household! We love all things pink, red, roses and we’re especially here for the chocolate. 😉 ❤️💕❤️💕 But V-Day is not everyone’s favorite...if you’re sick of the over-commercialization, I’d encourage you to love up the history of St. Valentine, a man who served others before himself.

A few days late, but this month’s flavor is worth the wait! Flavor of the Month is my opportunity to try out new recipes and flavors. Inspired by Ruby Cacao Cake, this little number is MOUTH WATERING. Rich chocolate cake wrapped up in Ruby Cacao buttercream - a beautiful deep blush color, with notes of raspberry and cocoa butter - all dressed up for Valentine’s Day. 😍😍😍 Design is inspired by .shop - and topped with their Honeymoon Sprinkle Mix, as well.
