❤️ A Bittersweet Announcement ❤️
After a lot of prayer, thought, and many, many conversations, I have some bittersweet news to share: Olive Branch Bakery will be closing its doors at the end of October.
This is not an announcement that comes easily. For the past three years, this bakery has been so much more than a business to me. It has been a dream that I poured my heart, time, energy, and countless hours into. We have celebrated birthdays, holidays, milestones, and everyday moments with so many of you, and I am incredibly grateful that you allowed us to be a small part of those moments.
There have been some really beautiful seasons, and there have also been some incredibly difficult ones. Running a small business takes more than I ever could have imagined, and after a lot of reflection, I feel that it is time for me to redirect my time and energy toward the one thing that matters most to me—my family.
Walking away from something you worked so hard to build is not easy. There is sadness in closing this chapter, but there is also peace in knowing that sometimes God asks us to let go of something good to make room for something different.
To every customer who walked through our doors, placed an order, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, brought their family in, or simply stopped by for a loaf of bread or a sweet treat—thank you. You have supported us in ways you probably never realized.
And to everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me, worked alongside me, believed in me, and supported this little dream from the beginning—there truly are no words big enough to say thank you. ❤️
We still have one month left, and I hope you’ll come see us before we close. Come enjoy your favorite treats, grab one last loaf of bread, and help us make the most of these final weeks at Olive Branch Bakery.
Our doors will officially close at the end of October.
This isn’t goodbye without gratitude. It is goodbye with a very full heart. ❤️
