In regards to my last post about Pride 🏳️‍🌈

Y’all. Please. If you don’t like it, you’re able to exit at any given time. You don’t have to get yourself even more upset by engaging in comments with people who disagree with you (though you are obviously welcome to, but why do that to yourself if you’re already upset?). It’s all love here, and there is no need to be angry. Move on if it will bring you peace of mind! At the end of the day, we’re all humans, and we all think our own beliefs are right. That’s why they’re our beliefs. I’m not here to change yours, and I promise you will not change mine. But please take a moment and remember that supporting one thing or valuing one thing does NOT mean you automatically don’t support or believe another. Two (or more) things can be true at once. Open that mind, baby. Open that mind. Life isn’t black and white.

With that being said, I’m going to continue posting about what I love and support here. It’s my page…so feel free to go if it bothers you! Protect your peace. In the meantime, I’m going to keep loving, living, and doing what I’m doing. There will be a Pride cake coming this month, I’m sure. 😉 Love you xoxo

I had zero sense of direction in mind for this cake other than being golf-themed, but I love how it came out! It was also delicious, if I may say so myself 😇

6” banana split cake- fresh banana cake layers (we don’t do artificial banana around here!!!), chocolate ganache filling, diced strawberries, and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. Usually I add some maraschino cherries on top, but since this was a last-minute decision, I didn’t have any on hand. 😉

Thick and chewy cookies are the superior cookie, and I’ll die on that hill! 😤

USE A QUALITY BUTTER SO YOURS STAY THICK AND DON’T EVEN HAVE TO BE REFRIGERATED FIRST omg it makes a world of difference!

I loved this cake for some reason. I love the buttercream color, I love the flavor choice, and I love the design- simple, but perfect for the theme.

I always love making cakes and sharing them with you guys, and idk what it is, but lately I’ve been loving it sooo much more. I think it just makes me so happy to share my heart in a hobby with you guys and get to see how much so many of you enjoy it in return. 🥹

Someone sat with me recently and talked to me about how I don’t just stand here and make cakes on videos…I talk, we chat, and it’s like you guys are actually here. It’s intentional. My kitchen is my place of love. I love when my family pops in while I’m baking, I love sitting in the kitchen with coffee or a drink with a friend, I make so many creations in this kitchen out of love…it’s my sacred place. Thank you guys for sharing this space with me and joining me here. 🥹❤️

Answering your burning question I get alllll the time- why do I poke a hole in my cakes after crumb coating them?
