When we say shopping local means supporting families, this is exactly what we mean.
Meet Ann and Michael McCarty, the heart behind The Shelf, LLC. What began in 2022 has grown into a truly family-built business spanning four generations of treasured recipes. From recipes lovingly passed down by grandparents and great-grandparents, to family members crafting products today, every bag and every batch carries a piece of their family's story.
For Ann, this journey started with a desire to better understand food allergies and create healthier options for her own family. Along the way, that mission grew into something even bigger—a calling to feed people, build relationships, and share the blessings they've been given with communities across Oklahoma.
You'll find an incredible variety of handcrafted snacks, seasoned nuts, homemade fudge, and specialty treats in all three Farm Hippie locations. Many of their products are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, or made with low or no added sugar, making it easier for everyone to find something delicious to enjoy. They even make their rye chips and cheese crackers from scratch using a sourdough base, craft their own seasoning blends from simple ingredients, and use local Oklahoma honey in many of their recipes.
