Beauty & the Cake Beauty & the Cake is a small at home bakery business that was started by myself, Melanie Malone. Providing cakes and many other desserts. Hi there!

I am open to making specialty cakes for food allergies or special diets. My name is Melanie Malone and I am the sole proprietor of "Beauty & the Cake" home bakery. As a child my mother and I would bake goods together. It wasn't until I had moved out of my parent's house that I started to bake on my own because I missed my mother's baked goods. Three years ago I started making cakes as a hobby and

immediately fell in love with it. Though I am a self taught cake decorator, I continue to learn new techniques as much as I can. Since I have started in this business, I have faced challenges with custom orders. Clients requesting a cake to be less sweet and more healthy, to very difficult designs that I have never done before. These obstacles did seem a bit tough, but they inspired me to learn new techniques and help me reach the client's expectations. Here at "Beauty & the Cake" I want to provide my clients not only with a beautiful looking cake, but a delicious one as well. Good evening, fellow cake lovers. It's been a while since I have done any cake orders or tried some new cakes. This cake order I did was for a graduation. It's a half sheet cake with the school's logo on it, and the other designs represent the graduates tribal affiliations. It's a simple design since there is only so much you can put on a half sheet of cake. But I am pleased how this cake came out. The cake flavor itself is red velvet with a cream cheese frosting filling and covered in buttercream. So remember, like, share, and follow if you haven't yet. Thanks again, fellow cake lovers.

Good evening fellow cake lovers! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Sharing with you a last minute birthday cake order I did this weekend. This cake was a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Forgot to share this cake order I did last weekend. Denver Broncos themed birthday cake. Cake flavor was chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Making team logos out of fondant is always a little tricky but I am always happy with how they come out. Like these colors popping to bring out the team's colors. Enjoy your weekend cake lovers!

Hello cake lovers! Sharing with you a Pixar Cars cake order I did this past weekend. It is a vanilla cake covered in vanilla buttercream. The decorations are made with my homemade fondant. Only Mater and Lightning McQueen are actual toy cake toppers to be a souvenir for the birthday kid. I like the colors of this cake , the red really pops. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Did a last minute graduation cake order over the weekend for a Kirtland Central High School graduate. Thankfully it made the long bumpy road ride up the mountains to the reception. The cake itself is chocolate flavor with vanilla buttercream. The decorations on it are made out of fondant from my homemade fondant.
