First and foremost, we here at Thistle & Fig want to thank you. Thank you for being an amazing community and our greatest cheerleaders. Thank you for sharing love with your communities and thank you for trusting us with your stories.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

At the beginning of this journey, we felt certain we knew where we were headed and moved forward with all the speed we could muster! It was clear that our mission and vision of “Kindness is Key and Community is Everything” was what needed to drive any output and/or action taken.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Time and time again we kept coming back to this and the idea of having the chance and privilege to pursue shedding light on the incredible women (she/her/they) that make up our community. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It is because of you, our amazing, inspiring community that in one of our weekly (very) late night meetings, the idea for T(hers)day was born. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The importance of doing our part to ensure every voice is brought to the table...every background/economic situation/family make-up/belief/passion/artistry is something that weighs heavily on our hearts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It is both bitter and sweet that we take a step back from Thistle & Fig and turn the majority of our energy into forming “The Hers: A company whose mission is to normalize the mess and shed light on the beautiful mosaic of women in our community”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Thistle & Fig will still be operating for personal orders and weddings. Creating and sharing our artistry is a huge passion of ours and we still want to create beautiful desserts for you! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
