Our Story

The Market opens the first Monday in June through Labor Day. During the season it is held every Monday and Thursday from 10am - 1pm on the Village Green in downtown Pentwater.

Farmer's Market in Pentwater is back again for another fabulous season. Please come see the offerings of the market. This market features the best products our local farmers have to offer. More than 25 area businesses have signed up to participate in Pentwater Farmer's Market on the village green. This year's offerings at the market include honey, mushrooms, baked goods, meats, coffee, fruits, vegetables, cheese, maple syrup, wine, soap, eggs, jams, pesto, salsa, flowers, plants and more. Farmers Market "I whipped up last night's dinner using fresh items I'd purchased earlier in the day from our vendors," said market coordinator Amy LaBarge. "I stir-fried asparagus, garlic, onion, ginger and olive oil. Tossed that with spinach and handmade, infused pasta. Topped it all with blue oyster mushrooms I'd roasted for a few minutes. Then, a bit of grated Parmesan. There's nothing like tasting foods at their peak of freshness." This year the market will include special safety precautions so both vendors and customers can feel safe! We strongly suggest our shoppers to please wear a mask when visiting the market. Hand sanitizer will be available to clean your hands when you enter and exit. Additionally, we ask shoppers to please social distance and only send one family member to do your shopping. Our vendors are also taking additional precautions for the safety of their customers. You will notice vendors wearing masks, products will be placed away from the customers to eliminate handling of items, vendors collecting payment will not be handling food, no coins will be accepted and more.

This year the Pentwater Farmer's Market will be introducing curbside service. Place your order ahead of time and have your market goods delivered right to your vehicle. Curbside service will be available from 10:30 am until noon on Monday's and Thursday's in marked locations.

Please visit www.pentwater.org/business/pentwaterfarmersmarket/ or www.facebook.com/pentfarmersmarket for list of vendors and to place your order for curbside pick up.
