Miller Family Aquaponics

Miller Family Aquaponics Sustainable Farming, Chemical Free Produce What is Aquaponics? Aquaponics is a way of growing vegetables sustainably.

It is rather similar to hydroponics, only where in hydroponics, you need to add chemical nutrients to the water, we have very large fish tanks stocked with fish; and the fish give us all the organic nutrients we need for the plants to grow. The way that this system is more sustainable than hydroponics, is that the water is circulated through the whole system. We pump the water from the fish tanks

to the plants, the plants absorb the nutrients (thus filtering the water), the water is then pumped back into the fish tanks as clean as if we had put it through a filter. In this way, we are giving our customers the most sustainable, and organic of vegetables; and they were not grown in some other country or state: they were grown right here, in Pensacola FL., and ready for anyone who would like to support their local farms and give back to the community.
