There was a time when Gimme Sugar was just a dream, a kitchen full of late nights, and a little girl watching her mama chase something bigger.

This picture was taken during the renovation of what would become our cake shop. Empty walls.Concrete floors. A whole lot of uncertainty. But also a whole LOT of hope.

What started at home, baking for friends, family, and anyone willing to give me a chance, has grown into something I could have never imagined. A storefront. Thousands of cakes. Countless celebrations. A business that has become part of our community.

Through every long night, every risk, every sacrifice, one thing has never changed—my daughter, Olivia, has been my inspiration. She has watched this journey from the very beginning, and she is the reason I kept believing when things felt impossible.

Building Gimme Sugar was never just about cakes. It was about creating something that showed her what hard work, faith, and determination can do.

Sometimes I look around and still can't believe how far we've come from this empty room. These last 7 years in business have been AMAZING. We are still going strong 💪.
